TITBIT - 17 - BANK FD vs DEBT MUTUAL FUNDS

Key take away:
In the last 10 years short term debt funds have given decent returns better than bank FD.
The tax implication is lower than bank FD after adjusting for inflation.
When inflation is low, tax on capital gain is high, which is still better than bank FD with out indexation.
